This type of temperature switch is specially best suited where dust proofing and drip proofing are necessary. As a dusting type it is used in ships, etc. and also widely used in carious industrial fields and in general manufacturing industry for fluid control (oil temperature, water temperature, etc.). Especially, it is best suited for engines of ships. Because of the double-action mechanism the main operation lever does not stop at an intermediate position in reaching from the lower limit to the upper limit. Therefore, chattering phenomenon does not occur even in slow operation and in combined use of relay and solenoid. The main body of the switch is press-shaped of steel plate and properly treated to ensure a long life. After first performing the rust-proof treatment it is coated with a standard paint of mussel No. 2.5G 7/2 color and then enameled with melamine resin paint.
